Herding is one of the fastest growing dog sports in Arizona. More and more people who own working breeds are discovering that allowing their dog to do what they were bred to do is one of the quickest ways to build confidence, improve their relationship, and tame aggression issues. It can also help optimize performance in other sports by building endurance and strength.

Herding Instinct Testing- Does YOUR Dog have it?  Find out here!  Most working breeds do and it's a wonderful experience to see this deeply bred skill reveal itself. Herding instinct can be subtle in some dogs, needing to be encouraged.  In other dogs, herding instinct is so intense, you find your dog herding virtually everything that moves.  In either case, allowing the dog to use this instinct is a great experience.  So often at Club-Doggie we see huge behavioral changes when a high energy work breed is allowed to work - it’s amazing. If you are unsure if your dog has “instinct”, Club- Doggie can instinct test your dog. For $10, an experienced handler will take your dog in with the stock and evaluate their behavior.  Form this test, the trainer can tell you how much instinct the dog has and how best to nurture it moving forward.  Contact us to schedule an instinct test.

IN OUR HOME TRAINING - Club-Doggie offers the unique experience of In Our Home Training for new handlers and new dogs in order to give the handler the opportunity to learn herding without hindering training potential in their dog.
