Meet the Trainers

Kama Rueschenberg conceptualized Club-Doggie and has developed the unique training programs now featured. She trains agility and herding from beginning to the competition level. Kama professionally trials client dogs and is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. Currently Kama is coauthoring ‘The Herding Handbook’, and working towards her degree in Animal Behavior Sciences.

Jubie Rueschenberg owns and operates Club-Doggie. Her background includes training for conformation, obedience, shutzen, herding, freestyle, and agility. She has authored published articles on training and theory, developed training videos, and specializes in motivational training. Jubie started competing in agility in 2006 and qualified for the USDAA Cynosport World Games. In 2007 she and her dog Squeeky were one of eight dogs to make it into the USDAA Performance Speed Jumping Finals at the USDAA Cynosport World Games. To date, Jubie is furthering her career and education in applied dog behavior and training.

Dawna Sims owns and operates PSR Stock Dogs training facility. She is an AHBA judge and has successfully trained and achieved many titles on a variety of breeds. Her accomplishments in the herding arena are numerous, including a high in trial at the 2007 Border Collie Nationals. Dawna Sims is also known for her positive training principles and individualized training programs. Her sought out training has led her to star in a series of herding videos, seminars, and lectures. Currently Dawna is writing a herding manual to be released early 2009.

Our Dogs

Crash is owned by Kama Rueschenberg.  He is currently a Tournament Master in USDAA, holds multiple High in Trial and High in Trial Reserves from various herding shows on both sheep and ducks, competes in the Excellent level in AKC agility, and has participated at the USDAA Cynosport World Games all three years of his agility career.  Crash is also occasionally handled by the junior handlers at Club-Doggie as a part of the USDAA Junior Handler program.
